does anyone have any tricks?
i know that it comes in waves...working out alot, eating really well,,,then the mac and cheese calls, and then your sleeping later and skipping the gym all together.
I try to find a goal, usually a peformance or apearance to get ready for, but sometimes i just put on the dr.rey support garment and go!

Man all I know now is that going to the gym for me is like the most natural epic high..

I get within like 3-4 feet of the door to the complexe.. and I just get these bursts of endorphines or whatever that shoot through me and I just feel so good, almost like a full body orgasm.. fucking loving it bro loving it!

NLP people call it getting into state. Have a trigger like a song or an action that happened when you just benched 300 pounds and use the same trigger every time to bring up the same feeling.

So for example, if you have a song that gets you fired up - play it.

you tube bodybuilding vids, watch UFS fights, do some shadow boxing, take some oral anabolics, look at bodybuilding mags, ....

Yeah, what they said but also small victories keep me motivated. Involve as many of the senses as you can but having certain music, pictures, PWO shakes, ect. It's all a ritual for me. I just keep grinding it out even when I don't feel like it and pretty soon it starts to pay off and I can keep going!

for me that never works forever
usually a one time deal

Pumping Iron is probably the greatest motivational piece in existence, and not just for lifting. That is the movie that paved the way for Arnold's career.
