Getting a PS2, need game recomendations!

GTA3, no question brother. If you have doubts, go rent it. By far, the best driving/anything you feel like doing game I have ever played.
I'd like to hear other's as well. I played Madden 2001, and was unimpressed. I'd like a cool football game, where I control the players. I'll have to check out NCAA Football.

I found playing MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Charmichael is a lot of fun. The freestyle tracks are a blast.

well, I don't have a game recommendation, but I have a recomendation nonetheless......and that is don't get a Piece of Shit 2!! You can argue all you want about games and graphics, but the console itself is a cheap piece of shit that seems like it was manufactured in Poland instead of Japan. It wouldn't be so bad if Sony actually had decent customer service, but they're fucking ASSHOLES!! If you do get one....word of advice, NEVER, and mean EVER.....put the thing vertical. My buddy did it and the thing stopped reading DVD's but played games fine. But then it started scoring circles around even games, RUINING THEM. When he talked to Sony they told him about a manufacturers defect in which when you put the thing vertical the pins holding the reader steady eventually gave way. So now my friend can't play games unless the thing is vertical. If he puts it horizontal the reader wiggled too close to the discs. So it's only a matter of time before the piece of shit won't play anything at all. The worst part is Sony won't replace the system. GOD I FUCKING HATE THAT COMPANY!!!

well all the promo shots showed the damn thing vertical. sure....no-one should ever put a piece of shit vertical becuase it might fuvk up the CD player but how was he supposed to know

007 agent under fire is very good, better than golden eye on the n64.
