Gettin' old, what to do

I am 50 years old, overweight, outta shape, etc, etc. 14 years ago I was in the gym 3-4 times a week and in great shape, then just quit going. About the first of the year I started having impotency trouble. Red flag, got me motivated, knowing excercise and weight training raise testosterone, I rejoined the gym, started a low carb, high protien diet and went to the doctor. Blood work for cardiac problems was all good, no high BP, no diabetes, cholesterol good. He wouldn't do hormone levels and gave me Viagra for the ED, which worked great, but I'd rather it worked like God intended, naturally.
I've lost over 30 lbs, from 337 down to 300. I started with light weights at high reps for 6-7 weeks, and am now starting to do the maximum weight I can lift for 10 reps, 3 sets. I walk 2 miles 3-4 times a week. I supplement with vitamins, protien drinks (low carb) and have tried some "Fat Burners" mostly caffiene based.
My weight loss has stalled. I store fat ,like someone here put it, "in a womanly manner" in the belly, breasts, and hips. I've read a bunch of these threads, here and elsewhere, and there seem to be so many different options.
What are the best 3 or 4 things I can do to get my fat loss going again or speeded up. What's the connection between thyroid and fat loss. Would supplemental T3 help? I just got some AIFM and am trying that.
There doesn't seem to be much hope in trying to get my doc to cooperate, so I'm kinda self diagnosing. I know, shouldn't do that.

OK ... Good start.

You really need to know all your hormone levels to include estrogen. You need an Anti-aging Doctor. They know to administer such testing. Go to Google and put in Anti-aging and your city.

Time to get very radical. Eliminate all fast carbs. This includes all sugars, fruit and flour products. You are holding water in addition to fat and must get the body to shed this.

This is metabolism speed and you need to leave it alone until you see what the blood test results are. AIFM will not give you the jump you are looking for.

We all self diagnos. Only Anti-aging Docs can help us.
