Recently there have been a lot of alters on here i understand but members and moderators are making it almost impossible for NEW members to join.. claiming everyones an alter and banning them for no reason, i know you are trying to run a business so can't you find some way to see if they are alters before being accused and banned?

how is he supposed to recognize an alter out of a crowd of new people?...i mean i know what you're getting at how there's TOO MUCH accusing but there is no way...all you need is an email to sign up...and emails are free...so as long as that is the case alters will keep showing up and some sincere lurkers/people will unfortunately be bashed/mocked because of these alters

I think the only way would be to search for the IP address first. I have no idea how much work that is but they could have a list of ip address that are "banned addresses". Kinda like in some stores they post up all the bad checks they get.
Problem is, that all someone has to do is change location.

i didnt know if they had a list of EVERY ip address that signs up and has a program to find multiples.. i understand some people share computers but ip's taht have 4-5 accounts should be banned and only leave 1~

This would leave out peeps like me since I use my work computer and I have a roming ip address.

me getting bombed doesnt bother me at all.. i dont live off karma.. i give all mine away anyways.. i enjoy this site for entertainment purposes only i come for BB advice and C&C is fun sometimes.. sadly some people take karma WAY too seriously and some people bomb new members that r legit and scare them away.. i personally dont care if im blacked out or not
