George vs Jerry

Obviously the show could not exist without Jerry, but putting that aside, who would you say was the greater assett to the show? I personally think George was the deal breaker. Jerry a close second. Kramer was great, but he was an accessory character and elain was more or less there for contrast.

Just fuckin witcha bra, I agree. I was watching the bloopers today and realized how good george actually was...micheal alexander. It wasnt his fuck ups in the bloopers, it was his ability recover if he forgot lines, what he replaced in place of what he forgot, he improved...and he did it well. He showed more wit and seemed a hell of a lot more clever and in control than all the other members...kramer was a close second in that regard (control).

Yes him and larry david, larry david mainly. But I dunno, I see what you are saying about the setups, and if it were reverse and to come from jerry instead of george, I dont think it would come across as good. Jerry's just not as consistent as george and george has a uniqueness about him, he just has more emotion or realness to him and his character. Jerry you can tell is acting alot more than george so that takes away from the delivery a lot.

Absolutely, that's what I'm saying. Jerry couldnt do Georges role. He just doesnt have the traits and personality to really do it. It comes so natural to george. Hell, I bet his parents even call him George in real life.

Elaine did get better looking for sure. Her hair stopped looking fried, had a better complex, nicer smile...I agree.
