I dont know if it's possible or not but is there anyway you make it so the maximum avatar size in kb is higher than the current 19.0 kb? I realize this isnt a very important thing but so many times I have wanted to use a gif that was always too big (by like 10 kb) or have resized an image to the correct dimensions and still exceeds the 19kb limit.

Problem is that we serve a heck of a lot of avatars off our own hardware -- it's not like linking offsite. Simplify it, reduce the number of colors, where there's a will there's a way....

I think we could build the system to resize it for you, but that would cost a lot to do. Here's what I would do, post it in a thread or your gallery, and then since your Platinum, create a Karma Awarded Thread and give the K to the first person who resizes it for you.
