genetic limits

Anybody

Y'all think your natural body size tells you what you roughly what your genetic limits will be? I've heard several people here say that they were skinny-ass little kids before they started BB and ended up looking like monsters. But my gut tells me that the smaller you are to begin with, the smaller you're gonna be when you hit the wall.

I have a friend who is so strong naturally he benched 275 (1rm), and he doesnt lift at all. When i started my 1rm was 100 lbs less than that. It's hard to believe this guy wouldnt end up a lot bigger than me if he had my training/diet for as long as i have.

And what exactly imposes genetic limits? I know natural test levels probably has something to do with it, but for the hardcore people who practically never come off gear they're kind of circumventing that.

You can increase and remove horomones, but horomones cant change your genetic coding. If your gene code says your arms cant grow over 20'', then when you hit 20'' that's it for you. You can take all the drugs and horomones you want. Just like if you have the bald gene... there's nothing you can do about that. If your hair is naturally blonde, but you want it to be naturally red.... good luck :worried: .

But it's hard to compare muscle to hair, because muscle is able to adapt to training. Hair and skin color can adapt too, but it takes thousands of years for those adaptations to occur (in the right conditions).

Do I believe in the genetic limit when it comes to the amount of muscle someone can build?? Im not sure, but Im starting to believe more and more. If there is no such thing as genetic limitations, then everyone could potentially be the size of Ronnie Coleman... provided they did everything right and took the amount of drugs necessary.

But to answer your question... I wont say that your natural body size has a direct correlation with how big you can get; but I think the bigger you are to begin with, the easier it will be for you to build large amounts of mass. And likewise the leaner you are to begin with, the easier it will be for you to get ripped up.... In general.
