Genetic Limit Reached??

I remember seeing a few random posts about genetic limits, but my question is slightly different. My question is if a person is at or 1-2 lbs from their genetic limit, does this fact slow your gains down even while on any sort of gear? I have seen the debates about how much if any you can keep when you pass your genetic limit and how you will eventuially lose it all, etc, but never saw any posts about how it affects your gaining ability. Is it similar to that last 5 lbs of BF you want to lose always being the hardest to shed, or with gear in the picture is it irrelevant? Thanks.

I don't know a specific answer to this, but I believe it would have to slow you down. Not simply because of your limit, but the more you gain the harder it gets to grow. But this is just speculation.

I'd like to comment on this because I believe I had reached my genetic limit before going "on".

I had been training naturally 15 or more years before I started my cycling this year. Now you can say that I just wasn't training hard enough or my diet was off or whatever but I believe that I did reach my "natural" potential training naturally.

When I started juicing this year I made gains that seemed like they wouldn't stop and I'm still gaining.

I think it would slow a lot but I think it would slow well before you were only a couple pounds from your limit.

im a firm believer on genetic limits are held down to the (heart/soul in training) and the (connective tissue to support it)...... your nat genetics is a base line, that is yours to start with, no one is the same. twins???.........With the use of a/s, you will go beyond, some more than, some less than others.we are all not the same on and off though.... we are all different. then theres the risk of going higher in dosages and personal limits, but in the end the connective tissue will limit you with injurys and growth...

If someone can come up with a formula to calculate one's genetic limit I will become a believer in this. But until then it is BS.
