Generic Vs Actual name - what do you think

If you're at CVS and go to get your usual hemorrhoid cream and you see a cvs version or the regular one, which do you get. Is there really a difference. Do the generic brands use the same ingrediants just a lower quality of that ingrediant?

All you needa do is look at the active ingredient name and concentration. If that is the same, then why THE HECK would I pay extra for brand X? I don't really feel the need to pay extra for Brand X's advertising/packaging costs.
