Gear available in Peru?

I'm going to Peru in a few weeks. Will be in Lima and Cuszco. If anyone knows if any vet or human grade is sold there please let me know.

ooh yeah, just ask around! you can find just about anything over there if you got the money. It would really help if you spoke spanish cuz i dont think your gonna find anyone that speaks english when looking for gear.

Can't seem to get ahold of animal B. If anyone else has any advice on where to look when I get into Lima, it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh ya....and my girlfriend speeks a little spanish,so hopefully we won't get into too much trouble.

First try the pharmacies. Just walk in and ask, they don't make that much money anyway, so you might get lucky. Or you can go to Gold's Gym, ( a year ago there were 3 in Lima) and find a big dude and ask him. Remember though, big dudes are hard to find in Peru. I bet you're going to be one of the biggest people on the streets so prepare to get some stares. Also they have a lot of smaller gyms just about everywhere, not in the center or Miraflores which is the shopping area, though.

If you don't find/get anything in Lima you can always try it in Cusco. Smaller place but also less income for the pharmacists ---> better chances. After Xmas I could've helped you out a little better after visiting my wife's family again.

Oh yes. In Cusco you can get coca leaves very cheaply. They are available everywhere. Helps you get up to Macchu Picchu easier.

yes kokain is very cheap in Peru. you can get anything you want ( anything that is avaible) in the pharmacies since steroids are not ilegall in peru. as long as you have the money of course.'

do you know why there is koka leaves for sale, specially in poor cities as machu pichu? koka leaves are often use by farmer workers that work 12-15 hours/day, people who has to work hard..for what, for food, for one single meal for the whole day. these poor people need something that make them stay strong, alert and supress apetite, its why koka leaves come into the picture. they are very popular inte "amazonas", you cant get stone by chewing koka leaves bro., its not like snorting.

But didn't the leaves also alleviate altitude sickness symptoms? So if you start getting a headache just get some leaves and chew them.
