Gator spyware?

I just read in a thread that someone said they got it like a virus from clicking on a link....

What is it and how do you remove it....I have it on my computer.

almost all of those spyware destroyers cost money....

the ones that don't trick you into downloading it and scan your computer. Once they find it they make sure you have to register before it can be removed.

just on kazaa and search for "Spybot".

you'll be ok.

btw gator registers as spyware but i don't believe it's actually spyware. it's just the way it's designed (since it does save all your passwords), it's just identified as such.

YES!!! My friend who is an IT guy says it's called a parasite! It doesn't harm your computer but makes it run slow, because It collects data and info on what sites you surf etc.. and uploads your info back. Now you have to buy spyware on top of antivirus program! I hear it is very difficult to remove, even for a professional!

If the gator box shows up on your screen asking u to install, it won't matter if you hit cancel or not,you will still get it,thats the way the shit works.Do a search for Spybot,its free and gets rid of all spyware.

I tried it! worked GREAT!!!!!!!! I had 150+ spy's on my dam pc...no wonder it locked up and worked slow...now I am speeding along.
