GameCube doing VERY WELL....

I figured it would do well.....I'm still going to wait 4-5 months before I decide which one to get. I think alot of people assume the xbox is more powerful just from it's "paper" stats.......but anybody that knows video game hardware knows that texturing will beat frame rate, especially on tv's. I don't know how well xbox textures, I'm sure it's good given the harddrive frees up alot of the RAM, but I've read that the gamecube is a texturing monster!!! That was the dreamcasts strength, and the reason why some of it's games still look better than ps2 games. Alot of ps2 games look VERY bland, MGS2 is a perfect example of a developer having to make very dark scenes to hide the console's texturing flaws. We'll see though, when I heard that the xbox is getting it's version of MGS2........hmmmm, well, as I said, we'll see.

i bought a game cube this weekend and i am very happy with it. the graphics are the same as the ps2 and the xbox. its 100 dollars cheaper than the xbox and ps2, cant beat that.

i cant help but notice that the graphics on the ps2, xbox, and game cube dont seem that much better than the graphics on the dreamcast.. soul calibur for the dreamcast was just as good graphic wise as these new systems.

I rented NFL 2K2 for Dreamcast and immediately ejected the game and trhrew away the system.

I don't know about other games, but Madden and Nascar are great on X and Gotham City Racing looks cool as well (looks pretty close to GT3 on PS2).
