FYI -- post-cycle blood test results

Just thought some of you might be interested in my post-cycle blood test results, since they might be similar to yours in terms of the impact of diet and AS.

For background -- I'm 26, 6', 255, 12% BF (6 site caliper method) and have done 5 or 6 relatively short cycles (4-8 weeks) starting 2 years ago. I compete as a Superheavyweight, although I am taking this year off to put on size and due to nagging injuries and joint pains. Diet: around 550g protein/450g carbs/70g fat (meats, flax oil) spread across 9 meals plus 1 protein shake in the middle of the night.

These tests were done about 10 weeks after an 8 week cycle of Test, Fina, and Dbol (first 3 weeks), + Winny (last 4 weeks) with a 4-week Dbol bridge at the end (2 weeks at 10mg/morning, 2 weeks at 5mg/morning).

Test level reference range
Sodium 142 135-145
Potassium 4.4 3.2-4.8
Chloride 103 98-108
CO2 27 21-30
Urea Nitrogen 27* 7-21
Creatinine 1.2 0.7-1.4
Glucose 44* 70-140

Calcium 9.3 8.7-10.2
Phosphorus 3.7 2.3-4.3
Protein total 7.4 6.0-8.0
Albumin 4.7 3.9-5.0
Bilirubin 0.3 0.2-1.2
Alkaline phos. 25* 30-135
AST 53 10-60
ALT 71* 10-60

Cholesterol
Total 134 <200
Triglyceride 91 <150
HDL 19* >40
LDL 97 <100

Testosterone
Total 96* 292-1511

Summary:
I already knew I was mildly hypoglycemic -- not a problem given my diet. When my blood sugar crashes, I feel it immediately and I eat -- feel better about 10 minutes later.

My cholesterol has always been low, as has my HDL. My HDL has probably been further reduced due to AS use and my recent lack of cardio. Will probably increase somewhat with more time off and more cardio.

ALT is only slightly elevated. With conditions such as hepatitis, numbers are often in the 600-700 range. Will probably return to normal with more time off.

Alk Phosphatase is slightly low -- generally not a problem unless significantly elevated.

Overall, no problems with liver or kidney function based on blood chemistry profiles.

Urea nitrogen is slightly elevated, probably due to extremely high protein intake.

Testosterone : this is probably of particular interest to many of you. I have always followed the time on = time off guideline, and done fairly short cycles. I felt particularly shut down after this cycle, probably due to the Fina. I probably inhibited or delayed recovery by using the Dbol bridge as well. I extended clomid therapy for a total of 4 weeks rather than 3. Obviously I needed more time off to recover normal testosterone production. My guess is that I was in the mid range (500-800) prior to AS use. Of course, they did not test SHBG or free test levels, which would have provided more information on my functional hormone levels.

Any comments or questions, please feel free to respond.
