I liked it. I thought it def held it's own with the first. I practically never go to a movie twice in the theatre but I may just go to this one again.

Ya know, for some reason the movies trailors didn't draw e that much. Usually I'm really into those kind of movies but for some reason this one just hasn't hit for me.

The lines at the theatres were huge! I didn't realze it was such an anticipated release.

the book was supposedly real contreversial. Half the people hated it half liked it. Seemed to be the way with military people.

I like the movie, cause it shows a differnt kind of war. It is basically what the soldier does while waiting to go into war, what happens to him if he has a girlfriend, when they get bored, and what it is like not to be able to shoot an iraqi when the have the chance to. More mental than anything like platoon. Starts off just like full metal jacket though.

Got to see Sammy the second we were there.
Vinnie Paul from Pantera came out and played some songs, it was cool.
Did some diving, wave running and LOTS of sleeping and drinking on the beach.
