I drove from Arizona back to Georgia. I was looking forward to spending time in Louisiana. I pulled into Louisiana @ 9:00 pm. The gas station we stopped at had so many bugs flying around the lights, the gas station was darkened. This was in mid July. I still want to live there someday, but the bugs would get on my last nerve. One good thing I can say about the place is I was up over 900 buck at the casino.

WHAT CASINO DID YOU GO TO? I USED TO WORK AT HARRAHS. THE BUGS ARE A BAD PROBLEM IN THE MORE RURAL AREAS. NOT BAD IN THE CITY. THE SWAMPY AREAS ARE EVEN WORSE. I LIVE JUST OUTSIDE THE CITY SO ITS NOT ALL THAT BAD WHERE I'M AT.

THE BAYOU CLASSIC IS THE ANNUAL FOOTBALL GAME BETWEEN SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY AND GRAMBLING UNIVERSITY. THERE IS ALSO THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS ON FRIDAY NIGHT. LOTS OF B.C. PARTIES AT VARIOUS SPOTS AROUND THE CITY. BOTH COLLEGES ARE ALL BLACK COLLEGES. THERE ARE ABOUT 200,000 BLACK FOLKS FROM OUT OF TOWN IN THE CITY THIS WEEKEND. EXCEPT THE TERM "BLACK FOLKS" DOESNT REALLY FIT TO LABLE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT COME IN TOWN. EVERY DOPE DEALER THIS SIDE OF THE RIO GRANDE IS IN TOWN THIS WEEKEND.
