From bulking to cutting in the same cycle

I'm running the following cycle.
dbol 30mgs weeks 1-4
test 500mgs weeks 1-15
eq 400mgs weeks 1-15

I just started week 5 and have another 10 to go. I've defenitely seem some good gains so far. Since I can envision getting to where I want to be by week 10 I thought I might try to switch it up from bulking to cutting the final 5 weeks. Right now I'm taking in about 3500 calories a day. I would cut that in half to 1800 and add cardio 3-5 days a week (right now I'm not doing any). Hopefully I can drop like 8-10 pounds of fat in 5 weeks while maintaining all my gains. This will get me from about 15% bf to about 10-11% for the rest of the summer.

What do you think? Should I throw some Winny in there as well?

Not a terrible idea, but when you do make that shift/transition, do it gradually. Start cutting down calories slowly and ramping up the cardio slowly, probably with your cycle around week 11 and then after PCT keep going on an ECA/cardio routine.

I figured I would pretty much do it over night. But maybe do it over the weekend. I had asked the question once before and most people on the board kind of advised against it (I really don't understand why...), basically using the argument that a cycle should be used for one or the other...

What about the Winny? Not necessary? 8-10 pounds is realistic in 5 weeks?

As for the gear no problem there..i did the same cycle for 8 weeks then dropped the test e and EQ for prop and tren..instead of Dbol I used winny and i ran that 8 weeks. Definitely do not drop your calories like that or you'll slow your metabolism down. For cardio do low intesnsity like treadmill walking on an incline..use the cardio to speed your metabolism not to burn calories and you'll spare more muscle.

So what are you suggesting regarding the calories and cardio? If I want to drop about 8 pounds of fat in 5 weeks. Do 30 minutes of low intensity cardio (walking on an incline?) 4 times a week? What about the Winny?

personally, i like to cut on gear, and bulk naturally on high cals and creatine.

but your idea sounds solid.
a more suitable approarch would probably be the 'yo yo' plan where you bulk for 1-2 weeks and cut for 1-2 weeks. keeps the body in check.

I've never heard of that before. Is that during a cycle. So alternate bulking and cutting every 2 weeks for 15 weeks? How should I schedule the calories on something like that? From 3500 to 1800 overnight?

I just turned my bulker into a cutter. My cycle is:
1-8: 75 mgs fina e.d.
1-12: 500 mgs. sust e.w.
12-14: winny 50 mgs e.o.d. (right into PCT, which starts 18 days after last sust shot)

I put on 14 lbs in 8 wks (2nd cycle), and was consuming 4000-4300 cals a day. At the beginning of week 9 I dropped to 2800 cals a day and am keeping protein high at at least 250 grams a day (I'm in week 10 right now). I also started doing 45 minutes on the bike 5 x a week. So far it's going good. I've got a little gut I need to get rid of, but it should be gone by early June easy. I'm at 201 right now (was 205), but I've definately lost a lot of the water I was holding and I swear to god my stomach has shrank in half. Strength is still rising, and I must say I'm looking pretty good. My goal is to be a lean 195 by mid June, which I don't think is unrealistic seeing as how I'm eating clean and doing mad cardio. From now on I'm sticking with 8-10 wk bulkers, after that I seem to stop gaining and start putting on fat.

As for you, I would definately not drop below 2500 cals a day, especially not if you're doing that much cardio. Eat clean, and the fat will go. Do your cardio in the morning if you can before you eat. Dropping cals to low will cause you to start burning some of your muscle (anyone correct me if I'm wrong). Throwing in winny at the end definately won't hurt either, try 50 mgs a day ( I would do 50 a day but I'm just using up the rest of mine from last cycle and only have enough for 50 e.o.d). By the way, winny is not going to cut any fat off of you. It is meant to be used when you're already lean to improve hardness/vascularity. It sounds to me like, with the goals you have in mind, winny would be most effective from weeks 12-17. That way you can lose a few more pound of fat, and run it for 2 wks after you take your last test shot (test enanthate PCT: 14 days after last shot, sustanon PCT: 18 days after last shot, winny PCT: 24 hrs. after last shot/pill). Burning as much fat as possible before you start the winny will give you better results with it.

yes bro thats how i did in a few times in the past and was very happy.
the problem with bulking or cutting is sticking to the program throughout the duration of the cycle.

you should know that cutting for 12 weeks is a bitch!
and unless youre preparing for a show, it really isnt necessary.
will take longer with teh yo yo plan, but youll burn fat and also add nice mass.

give it a shot bro..
its a rather fresh concept i must admit, but youll surely find it effective, and easy.

If you can make the time do cardio 2 times a day for 30 minutes each 5 days a week. If you are around 3500 cals now go down to about 3000.
 
i would rather cut during the cycle instead of cutting right after the cycle wich isn't good for keeping gains from a cycle. If i were you i would add some smaller dose of tren in periods during your cycle. Just because you're bulking does't mean you have to get fat (unless you do slin without gh :D) tren will make you lose alot of fat as long as your calorie intake isn't to high and you must keep the protein up all the time (i would go 350grams+)

cutting on EQ is a hell for me, apetite goes up alot :worried:
