Friggin' thieves.........

Seems like everytime I do a big shoot, something turns up missing.

Photography is the most popular hobby in the world. Every group has some people wanting to lighten my load it seems.

A lot of people need to be shot.

Worst part is your gear and glass won't even work on their
pentax K-1000's

Yea...that too.

Missing a lens but hope it is at the office.

Batteries and stuff are so easy to pocket.

I'm going to buy a big photo backpack and keep that stuff on me.

People keep asking to go somewhere and shoot xyz which means leaving my gear behind..............

Cripes...last week the wedding room and bridal room were a 1/4 miles apart it seemed. Wore my ass out just humping my gear down there.

I'll work for you at the next photo shoot you do if it's around Denver. All I need is dinner and the liscense to beat the living hell out of the thief. I'll just stand by your camera stuff and regulate some fools.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Damn democrats

I know exactly what you mean bor. Nothing but thieves the lot of them

shit if you shot my wedding I'd reimburse you for theft losses
though it's doubtful you would encounter any criminal activity
well almost

Most groups are pretty safe.

Stealing shit from a photographer is ...just low. We are not a high income group. It is a lot like stealing from an artist or musician.

Update....I found a few of the missing items.

Furnace went out last week which meant doing a night deposit today.

About $3500. So I've been staring at lenses.

Fukin' hopeless man. I need to pay off my credit cards.

TBoy, you definately need to join PPA and get their insurance coverage for your equipment. That is of course if you don't already belong.
I have a State Farm business policy for accidents and theft but I always go for high deductibles.

You are generally better off not filing a claim unless it is large. They cancel clients that bug them.

Insurance is for catastrophes.
