Free anti virus ?

any body know where i can download a good one ? I am Running windows xp pro. I tried mcafee and it did not work, missing files or some shit. any help would be great, thanks

i remember seeing a link to one at www.techtv.com
I'm not sure if its compatible with XP but it is free. do a search and you should find it. I do remember seeing it at the screensavers section of the website

just download norton utitil 2001 from morpheous or something, it will give you free updates, i dont think the free versions do that

can't you get one from grokster, gnotella or bearshare? there is usually software available there.

if not, why not get a crack for the shareware version.
