Freddy vs Jason .... your pick

They have had major publicity problems due to the guy currently playing Jason from the guy who played Jason since part VI. In addition to the plot change from the original script.
 
Tough call..........I'm not sure that Freddy's ability to utilise dreams is gonna help. Who knows what Jason dreams about?? Could be a few nasty suprises there.

Kane Hodder was Jason in Jason X, no? Before that, he was 1-5, right?
 
What the current (not original) script is about....


Freddy has come back to kill more kids on Elm Street (surprise!) but after the number of years that has passed since his last attack, no one is afraid of him anymore... He has to have fear in order to have strength to kill. So he decides to possess the dormant Jason in order to generate enough fear in these kids to make him stronger until he can kill them on his own. So he does this and when he has created enough fear to kill on his own again.. he decides to get rid of Jason (his competition). Of Jason, that don't sit right with Jason... he nearly kills Jason but the teenagers manage to grab Jason's body and start entering the dream world in an attempt to keep Jason alive so he can fight Freddy for them.

What's the original idea? Wasn't it something like Freddy and Jason just accidentally crossing paths while trying to murder the same kid?

Yes, the original plot was both Freddy and Jason pursuing a man that both felt they needed to kill for some reason. Sort of like a trophy hunt amongst themselves.

They scrapped this mid way in production.. the only scene remaining from the original plot was the cornfield scene with Jason and the bathtub scene with Freddy.

considering all the posts.. Ive changed my mind..

Id say Axle Rose would probably win... he could do that weird dance thing and scare Mike Myers and Freedy so bad they would be stunned and confused easily dispatching them with his hair.
 
Freddie....those movies used to scare the shit out of me....perhaps because I happened to live on Elm St.
 
This is one of the dumbest fucking movie ideas ever!

I'll take jason in five by vivisection.

Ahhh.... but here is the kicker.... Freddy discovers Jason's secret fear..... water.

And Freddy almost kills him by attempting to drown him.... which instills fear in Jason, which makes Freddy stronger.....
 
This is a stupid plot idea. However, I have to say Jason will win. After all, he doesn't really fear anything, and doesn't think much, so he should be fairly resistant to Freddy's attacks. Also he can regenerate tissue trama, and knows it, so even dying in a dream should not kill him, He'll come back. Plus, in Jason X he is still alive 400 years from now, so it would change the timeline of other Jason movies if he is permanantly killed in the present era.

Interesting, however I believe Jason doesn't ever die when drowned. Anyway, if he is afraid of water, why was he under the water hiding at the end of the first movie, when he jumped up and flipped that chick's boat over? They need to be consistant.
 
Also, why am I replying to this stupid thread about a movie with this rediculous of a plot idea?

She dreamed that. That never happened.

But when Freddy gets a hold of him.... Jason is reverted back to his 12 year old self when Freddy is trying to drown him.
 
OK, it finally happened. I've managed to read an entire thread and not understand one single word.

Who the hell are Freddy and Jason?

I'm obviously dumb as a doornail. Off to the gym and hang out with my Neanderthal buddies. We understand each other.
 
Jason will win. Freddy is gay and a sissy. Plus Jason will kill you through stuff with any number of things.... (ie, stab you through the wall, mattress, etc) Without his glove Freddy is nothing.

Whoooooo... they released this one pic of a Jason victim... the dude was on a bed, laying on his stomach.... Jason whacked him so hard with that machete, the bed folded up sandwich style... The dude had the back of his heels on the back of his head.
 
I am embarrassed to say that I have not seen any the Freddy or Jason movies. I almost saw Jason X once but my idiot friend could not get in.
 
this movie looks so stupid. just from the previews alone I've seen better actin' in tough actin' Tinactin.

I hope jason and freddy both die.

blood
creative murdering
tits
teens having sex
pot smoking

Ill be happy..

that is a formula that worked great on the earlier FT13th movies..
