Schumi on pole! for the 66th time of his career

Alonso 5th
Kimi 8th

With Button, Barichello and Massa between Schumi and Alonso, I can see Schumacher scampering off to a winning early lead. The McLarens also have Ralf to pass to get into contention. Only a Schumi accident can change this one.

It's great to see Barichello putting in a comptetive time.

I just wish F1 wasn't on in the middle of the night.

Well, the races start at 1:00 PM local time. This race, had it been televised live in the US, would have started at 6:00 AM your time. Only the Asian races pop up in the middle of the night here.

CBS sucks for delaying the broadcast. I had to avoid the internet until their broadcast was over to keep from having the result spoiled for me.

I had no idea it was going to be on, lucked into it and watched it. I told Smurfs funny, I was just thinking I should log on and check the results, glad I didn't?

Holy crap what a terrible track though. How is the sport still so popular with so little overtaking (that's the Eurpoean term for "passing")?
