I've been out of the loop for a while. Those are funny, although you posted no sources.

Fair is fair though, I'm sure that if Al Gore had won I'd be digging up some of his stupid statements. He has had some real charmers too.

Dubya makes Dan Quayle sound like Einstein.

I often wonder how all you people who like to call Dan Quayle dumb would compare in a match up with him in terms of personal education, intelligence, accomplishments, etc.

He's still an idiot. I'd be more impressed if he achieved those same things without being born into a wealthy and very influential family.

Isn't it your desire for your kids to be born into a wealthy family? Your grandkids? If so, does that take away their ability to become accomplished?

I'm saying I would be more impressed by a kid who inherits zero and turns it into $2 million than one who inherits $5 million and turns it into $8 million. Surely you won't deny that, being the son of a newspaper magnate, somewhere along the line he was presented opportunities that would have otherwise been unavailable to him.

...and he took full advantage of them. What is not good is when people waste opportunity.

It is impressive when someone makes himself out of nothing, like Bill Clinton, I'll agree. I don't hate on those with opportunities though, because usually it is the result of someone's hard work years ago.

I can remeber a day when American citizens did not talk of being murdered by their own government.

It was...............let me see...............2-3 years ago. :)
