What city would you recommend other than Santo Domingo?

Boca Chica or Punta Cana. Santo Domingo is fun for a couple days.

 

[Pure Pilates]

Good fishing in Samana (and Whale watching in March). Puerto Plata is nice also.

I was in Punta Cana about 3 years ago and stayed at the Paradisus, which was great. You can get a really good bang for your buck in the DR compared to other similar destinations.
