For those who are lean!!

Okay so I have a new goal, I have been up and down about what I have wanted with my body, and I have came to the idea that lean is what I want.
I'm shooting for fitness modeling.
I'm currently on
1-14 500 mg test
1-14 500 mg mast
7-14 60mg var.

I need to know what it is you guys do? How long would it take for me to go from 10% to around 7%
What did you guys do? How good did you actually eat? All these questions I'd love to know.
I would usually ask Dylan but I blow him up enough!

Everyone is different and has different opinions that work for them. I know Dylan has a great plan that works well for him and he stays ripped year round, but it may not be for everyone.

You just have to find your own way, which is the best diet and training regiment that you can stick to in order to reach your goal.

For me, the answer was intermittent fasting. It has allowed me to add muscle in slowly throughout the year while keeping and maintaining between 6-7% bodyfat. I also am able to eat more freely with this lifestyle which is another added bonus.

You may not need to live at 7%. Working with someone who knows what they're doing you should be able to dry out to a 7% look for a photo shoot if you're really living at 10%.

Explain that intermittent fasting?

Pop in my thread, start from the beginning, and everything you need to know is in it...and I add more all the time. Also feel free to post up any questions you might have in there.

The thread is less than 2 months old and already has over 7,000 views if that tells you how popular and effective that intermittent fasting is ;)

well at my lowest I was 6%. i was running 45 miles a week and my diet had zero sugar in it. did not use AAS, in fact AAS will actually hurt you because you will be forced to restore glycogen levels and it will impact your cardio negatively.

maybe not the strategy you are looking for but hey if thats your goal then that worked for me.

Personally id go over my diet and tweek it so that there was only necessitys there! 6% was my lowest after 6 months hgh but found it stupidly expensive im around 7-8% at the moment with a good diet and lots of cardio, swimming/boxing/more reps works for me.i dont like running to much so i tend to use them methods instead, i really believe my diet had alot to do with it rather than anything else, aas just made bulk up a bit before the hgh. Fiddle around see what works out for you, i struggled for a little while to get down from 10% but that was due to my nativity of keeping my diet correct.(diet took me from 10-8% then hgh from 8-6)
If your diet is 100% then id be looking into cardio/training methods.

you can stay in pretty good shape and be pretty lean at 10% and have a little freedom in what you eat but still staying on a pretty strong diet... to walk around at 6 or 7 % you have to be a strict person and a controlled person... its a lot of cardio, a lot of eating on strong and consistent diet... its very hard work and can be pressing but it is something that is attainable... you just have to be willing to make the sacrifices and put in the time and effort...

Dylan your just nuts bro! I envy you!

I got serious dedication to the gym.. But I love my jerky! Nearly impossible for me to stay away from.
Honestly I'd be happy at like 9% but I just want noticeable abs when I'm not flexing. I do eat good now, have been for a while.. But I veer off occasionally. Cardio is hard for me too do because I had surgery on my left foot a while back.. But I do what I can, maybe I just need to throw some
More cardio in my routines.

all cardio is not running... swimming, stairclimbing, biking, elliptical... etc... it will definitely allow you to cut up more...

This
Also can cut rest time between reps, do HIIT, jump rope between sets, plyometrics...

Try to cut the jerky in 1/2... The salt alone will make you look another 1-2% higher

Just sticking the treadmill on its highest incline setting and walking at 3-3.5 MPH will burn cals at a good rate and out your heart rate right in the zone for optimum fat burn. ;)

mixing up cardio not only is good for the body but its also more fun then doing the same shit day in and day out.

even as a runner i would rotate long runs, intervals, 5K's, tempo runs, hillwork, bicycling off road, bicycling on road, swimming upstream .. keeps it fun and keeps the mind fresh

i don't know how these guys at the gym i see do the same workouts everyday. one dude comes in on mon and thurs. all he does is bench press. then he goes home. no arms, no back, no legs. just benching. this is so wrong in many ways.

Well shit, thanks guys! And okay rick I'll check that out

Focus on eating only white meat like turkey ,chicken, white fish like flounder, tilapia etc veggies , egg whites and lots of water you will lose strength and a few lbs but hey if that's your go for it.

Why? I would focus on eating red meat. Eating lean cuts of meat does not cause you to be lean. I eat high fat and add fat with olive oil and coconut oil and eat lower carb and Im lean. That will force your body to burn more fat instead of burning carbs for eneregy

That may help you to be lean but when were talking 6-7% then adding more fat is not going to be ideal... it depends on the goal...

There's more than one way to skin a cat. Its all about what works for YOU!! No matter what food choices you make, there is one constant that doesn't change. Calories in vs calories out....

You need to burn more than you take in to see a bodyfat reduction. This can be done with diet and cardio.
