hypotheically, if customs opened a package, then checks 3/5 packages inside for whatever reason.

then they let it through ??
Do they test what the contents are ??

Should I get rid of the package- b/c I already did

Depends on the size of the package and your "record". But usually, when they open your package and see something unusual, they'll send that Health Canada's facilities and test it. Then, you'll receive a letter from Health Canada saying your package was seized for XYZ...

If they ckecked 3/5 of the package and found something, then they'll most likely (unless you'Re facing some lazy ass..) check the rest.

Now in order to have some unexpected visit you'd need to be either:

- a big time source

- involved with recreationnal drugs dealing...

80g like 320 sust amps for example ? The package would have usually been seized and charges pressed against you if they were really after you. Just to be sure, I'd clean the house. Where do you live exactly ? It might give me an idea on the kind of LE you got there.

i live in sask.
I heard around that they have on the spot tests for coke, speed, etc. , and that they probably just did one of those, determined it wasnt a narcotic etc, and let it go.
what do you think - does customs do such a thing ??

They do the basic tests, the other more sophisticated tests are done by Health Canada. They were probably too busy with other things cause otherwise you wouldnt have seen your package.
