I'm planning my 2nd cycle. My 1st was 400mg/ew test and I loved it. However, I had some hair loss. So, I was thinking about going with straight Deca. The only thing is I LOVED the TEST. So, I went to the Doc. and got a prescription for propecia.

Will that and rogain be enough to control the hairloss?

Should I start the propecia before my first injection?

Once I start the propecia will I always need to use it?

Is 1mg pill a day enough if I plan on useing 500mg/ew of test?

Does it work better with a certain test? (ex. Cyp. vs. Sustanon)

- Procepia controls the amount of DHT that is generated from testosterone. DHT is a strong androgen. But any androgen has the potential to cause hairloss. I used deca only and experienced temporary hairloss.

- You can start taking propecia a few days before in order for it to build up to a constant level or start with your first shot. Don't think it would make much difference.

- 1mg is the recommended dose to combat hairloss but that recommendation did not take into account testosterone levels that are 5-8x more than normal. Taking 5mg is probably only marginally more effective than 1mg but it is more effective. So if you can afford it I would take 5mg. Instead of propecia, try to get proscar tabs. Same thing but they come in 5mg tabs and cost the same as the 1mg propecia tabs.

- For the most part, test is test. I don't believe that propecia will work better against one type or another.


- So far I have done two cycle and experienced hairloss/thinning on both. But in both cases, the hair grew back or is growing back. Others have experienced the samething, while some report that the hairloss was permanent.

1. everyones experiences are different. some people swear that propecia will stop all effects of hairloss from test. however, that was not the case for me.

2. yes, start propecia before your first injection, but it gets into your system very quickly. a week should be enough.

3. if you start the propecia and then stop at a later point in time, you will lose hair. your doctor will tell you that you will only loss new hair, but in my case, i lost a shit load of hair when i came off. that continued for about 6-9 months.

4. 1mg is enough. i tried upping the dose to 2.5 (half a tab of proscar) and i suffered from sexual sides (decreased libido). not fun.

5. test is test. it doesnt matter which one you use.

p.s. as suggested above. get your doctor to proscribe proscar and then just cut the tabs yourself. its much cheaper. if your doc dont, then find a new doc.
