There are 2 types of people in this World: Those who appreciate "Short Cuts", because it's trully a masterpiece and those who miss the boat entirely

Very similar to the other work of art "Magnolia", "Short Cuts" is no more than the ordinary lives of various people that are all interconnected somehow.

No special effect, no shooting, no kung-fu fighting but so much emotion !

A tremendous casting (Andie MacDowell, Jack Lemmon, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Penn, Tim Robins to name a few)

3 hours long, mostly of depressing powerful drama. Trully dark

Love and hate, failure and success, sanity and madness lived by those anti-heros

One of the best movies of the early 90ies
