Not sure how I feel about this yet, the originial is one of my fav movies. Puff Daddy is in this one

I don't know, I've thought it about for the last day and I'm actually looking forward to it. After I watched the original many years ago, I went out and bought both books (Carlito's Way w/ Pacino is based on 'After Hours', 'Carlito's Way' is the first book, which this movie is based on). After Hours and Pacino's Carlito's Way had more differences than similarities. You lost some of the Puerto Rican tradition in the movie. I think what they did with this movie was get back to the book's true intentions and I think it may work. Some of the on the set pictures are on google, it looks pretty good. Again, the only drawback is that Puff Daddy is in it.

I'll probably end up seeing it just because I try to watch every movie I possibly can. Maybe there will be a "Puff Daddy Scenes Deleted" version. Not hating on the guy, but he should stay in his own lane.
