I'm taking an English Composition class...and I was gonna' throw this one out for all you "scholars"...i HATE english...
Read the following paragraph and identify the main idea and summarize it in one brief noun or verb phrase...

"First you have to write an appropriate, correct thesis sentence, " we have been taught. "Then, you develop a topic outline and, from it, a sentence outline. Next, you must organize..."

Howdy...

1) I'm a 3rd year English major, which in and of itself means jack sh*t, but if you ever need help editing/proofreading something, I'm game. I want to teach, and I actually enjoy this stuff, LOL!

2) I'm not 100% clear about what you want, but if I had to "sum it up," I'd say ORGANIZATION is the main idea. "ORGANIZE" would be the verb I would use to command what's being said.

3) Basically, a bunch of good ideas mean nothing if they're not organized, supported, and coherent!

[email protected] if you need more help with anything...feel free!

Thx badkins...i'm not sure exactly what they want..that's what the instructions read...this is an online course...i emailed the teacher to clarify on what he was asking...

it asked for a brief noun or verb phrase to summarize it.
hhhmmm..don't know..i'll get back to ya'.

our first writing assignment is next week, so i'm sure i'll be emailing ya' bad...i SUCK at writing shit.
