Alright I want to know if i purchased the right foods.
I bought "Old fashioned quaker oats, 100% whole grain, 100% natural".
Calories-150
Total fat:3g
Carbs:27
Protein:5 grams
I also bought kraft instant whole grain brown rice
160 Cals
1.5 fat
32 carbs

Are these good quality and healthy?
 
yes, these are 2 quality low GI carbs
 
I hate to be so technical but brown rice has a moderate GI of around 45-55 so it is not low GI. if cutting I would only eat it in small 1/2 cup cooked portions and combine it with other low GI carbs like fibrous veggies.
