it does work, its not syrup of ipecac in anyway, it coats and sooths the stomach walls, also helps coat nasty food. lol

I got majorly sick from eating some potato salad that had sat out for about 4 hours... I remember eating it around 8pm... and waking up at 2am with my mouth watering... and I was thinking about gross greasy bacon... and the thought of it was entirely disgusting... I then threw up.

did your sister or anyone else get sick from eating it? also, what is sashimi?? i've never seen it on the list of value meals at mcdonalds. do i need a sister to cook it or can anyone make it?
Sashimi is like sushi's less estrogenic big brolly, I believe its just raw meat on rice or something. Minus sans soy. With regards to the original posting abdomen ailing Ceebster, just be drinking a lot of fluids and if it gets worse, don't fret to bust out some tried, tested and true suppositorial gastrointestinal antispasmodics. To be real honest here you could just go the oral route with them, but I think your mouth has gotten you into enough trouble for today as it is, give your anus a chance to save the day.

Apparently the sashimi (raw yellowtail, salmon, and tuna) had sat out unrefridgerated in a warm room for several hours before it reached my little Ceeby mouth, and no one bothered to tell me before I ate it. A little sleep, and several technicolor yawns later, I feel almost human again, and am reminded why I rarely diverge from the safety of tofu and veggies. Salmonella shmalmonella.

Glad you got it outta your system before it had a chance to really set in and do ya some harm. Gotta be so careful with raw fish and meats. I had salmonella once from simply cleaning chicken one morning...I didn't even eat it! About 6 hrs. later I started feeling ill. We had tickets to a Billy Joel/Elton John concert so we ventured out...I had to leave in the middle of the 3rd song and it took me an hour to walk back to my car. I was sick for DAYS. Now I'm careful when handling raw meats and I bleach the counters and sink when I'm done...every time!

"Food poisoning" that presents symptoms quickly, say 30 minutes to 1 hour, is most likely not Salmonella or any of the major enteric pathogens, but more likely a "food intoxication" from an organism such as Staphylococcus aureus. Such rapid symptoms are from the toxins that are produced by the organism, directly in the food, and can survive the cooking process, whereas the heat has killed the bacteria itself. Salmonella tends to require longer intervals, since the bacteria has to take hold in the intestines and begin producing it's toxins near the intestinal wall.

I know for a fucking FACT thats BS. I hadnt ate all one day and the first thing I ate the next day was a burger king whopper(no I wasnt working there) and about 2 hours later I got sicker than holy fuck! Not sick, sick, just diareah. So anyways it came and went, I didnt eat nothing that night and I called boss in morning to tell him fucking forget it. He gave me the usual get your ass in here speach even if you spend the day in the Johny. So I went, and each time I went to shit I put a mark on the wall, by 11am there were 17 marks on the wall my ass was a water fountain! It wasnt long before that I seen a special on Ecoli so I said fuck work and went to the hospital were I was put on Iv for dehydration and antibiotics. Of course BK denied everything and I was to stupid at that time to get a lawyer and sue their fucking asses off!
