Follow up bloods

Hey All.

My 1st 10 weeks were up two weeks ago, and I just realised/remembered it would be advisable to have follow up bloods done.

So, what should I have tested? Total T, Free T, E2, Cortisol???

Senior guys, long time TRT'rs, please, your input would be placed at high value.

Thanks so much

H:cool:

basically everything. RBC, psa, cholesterol plus what you listed etc etc.

Total Testosterone
Bioavailable/Free T
SHBG
DHT
LH/FSH
DHEA-S
Estradiol
Total Estrogens (urine)
Prolactin
Progesterone
Cortisol
Thyroid Panel (TSH, FT4, FT3)
Comp Metabolic Panel
CBC
Lipid Panel
PSA

that's about it.

it's a full hormonal panel plus complete blood count and lipids and PSA of course but that's usually for elders.

and the comprehensive metabolic panel gives u information about the current status of your kidneys, liver, and electrolyte and acid/base balance as well as of your blood sugar and blood proteins, which includes:

Glucose, Calcium

Proteins: Albumin, Total Protein

Electrolytes: Sodium, Potassium, CO2 (carbon dioxide, bicarbonate), Chloride.

Kidney Tests: BUN (blood urea nitrogen), Creatinine.

Liver Tests: ALP (alkaline phosphatase), ALT (alanine amino transferase, also called SGPT), AST (aspartate amino transferase, also called SGOT), Bilirubin.

if ur interests now r just for dosing ur test and ancillaries just focus on ur hormone panel, but u'll eventually going to need the others.
good luck

Thanks X.

As usual the cost is the limiting factor here...Will see what I am going to do. The best would of course be to have the whole lot done....
