Folks in Boston?

Hi all,

Going to Boston for an overnighter to do a seminar, have much hours to kill and figure its time to blow some cash shopping for the familia.

Forgive my Boston ignorance, but where should I stay that is walking distance from some serious shopping, might be mall shopping, I dont care.... I am paying for this one so the only real limitting factor is that I do not want to spend a mountain on the hotel.

Any suggestions? I really need the help, so thanks a pot load for any help.

tanx,

Thanks, will do.

bump for boston info....

um.... gorilla girl? no mas. New name?

fanuell (sp) hall/ quincy market is the place to go. I believe its on the aquarium stop on the blue line. Hotels around there will be rediculously expensive. The subway (T) is great though, and if you're staying near a T stop you can get around very easy.
Other good places to check out Harvard Square, on the red line. Boston Common, stops on red and green line, Government center/ Park street.
I used to live in Boston, great town.

oh i forgot about fanial hall, lots of shops there. Eat crabcakes... lotsof them... nothing like new england crabcakes.
