Flying with Pets

I want to move to the West Coast maybe this coming March, and was wondering if any of you have experience flying with your pets. I dont think I could do it if they make you put them underneath with the bags & shit. How DO they do it? Can you take them on as a carry-on if they are in one of those travel cages? I have a cat you see. Any info is helpfull!

I have some Experience with flying cats...
Whenever ours get on my truck, I spray the hose up his ass and he flies off of there.

flying trips...no problem.

You are best to check with the specific airline because
they tend to have different restrictions.
Also get a kitty tranqualizer from your vet if they have to
travel, especially down below.
It's really not too bad.

Unfortunately, they do go in the baggage hold.

Unless you want to buy your cat a ticket.

Seriously, Call several Airlines. The rules / Policy is different for each and for each flight.
I've seen cats and small dogs in carriers in the cabin.
Some planes so have a pressurized heated compartment below for just such cargo...

Won't you have more than just 2 check in bags and a carry on to bring with you when you move? Maybe I read the post wrong but I'd think you'd need more stuff moved than just that.
