Weren't there at least a few able bodied men on board that flight that weren't pussies? Box cutters and knives my ass - someone better be already cutting my throat when they tell me that.

the hi jackers claimed they had a bomb. probably said they would detonate it if they had any trouble. also, im sure these people had no idea that the plane was going to crashed on purpose, until it was too late to do anything.

The call from the lawyer to her husband almost sounded like they didn't know for sure they were going to die. Otherwise, I can't imagine how 20 or 30 people couldn't overpower a few camel cock-suckers armed with knives. If I know I'm going out, I'm going out fighting.

Yes, I agree why did someone NOT make an effort to overpower them. Only thing I could possibly think of was that the terrorist pilot was weaving in the air making it impossible to stand or something, but otherwise, I would have shown them that American lives are not sold cheaply.
