Flex Wheeler

proly cause hes burnt out. hes been going downhill for the last 3 years, he proly wanted to quit while he was still close to the top.

Flex has officially retired from competitive bodybuilding. Whether he remains retired is anyone's guess.

He publically states that his reasons are religeous but most sources that are close to him believe it is because he has a number of health problems and injuries that have burned him out , he is tired of juiceing up to 300lbs in the off season and feeling like shit , and he wants to be more devoted to his family.

I beg to differ..Flex looked awesome at the '99 Olympia and lets not forget won the 2000 Arnold Classic. He's mentally burnt out. He was suppose to do this Olympia natural but things weren't going well and apparently his health problems caught up with him..HIS STORY. I heard apparently what REALLY happened and it had nothing to do with health or even bodybuilding for that matter and the source was was pretty reliable but who the hell knows.
Flex was my favorite competitor but i've lost a little respect for how he's handled things this last year. May he finally find peace in his retirement.

Well are you going to to tell us what really happened??

No because it's only a rumour and it wouldn't be fair to him or his family.
I don't think we'll ever know for sure though if it were true anyway.

colitus or however you spell it. Staight for big Lees mouth

Man he's had colitus for years. It apparently had NOTHING to do with health or bodybuilding for that matter. Lets just say FAMILY.

FLEX "SUPPOSEDLY" FOUND GOD. he stated that he was tired of all the stress he had put on his body with bulking up so much in the offseason feeling like shit. they had a really good article one on one with him in flex mag a few months back..might have actually been last month if i remember correctly. i believe it was something else that forced him to retire tho, aside from family reasons tho i dont know for sure what it is. flex is a good guy tho and i think he has the absolute best genetics in pro bodybuilding today. he's a great competitor and was surely missed.
