Flaxseed oil

Not insulting just want to know why you would?

No worries 4T I never did I was just curious because I had some and I like the color if it . I don't prefer color of GSO that's all.

I say try it, why not? I am VERY limited on oils here in Mexico and use filtered sesame oil and I have zero problems. I would love to have grape or cottonseed but it hard for me to get. I am all for trying different things, how else will you know what works and what doesnt????

Yeah I can see you wanting an opinion of someone whao has tried it. I did a search and didnt find much. In theory if it was 100% flaxseed and pushed through a Whatmna, you could. Hell you can tecnically use vegeatable oil. Anyways if you try it, let me know how it went.

Do have a particular reason you want ot use it? Or just have it on hand?

Thanks good point however flax seed oil isnt sold refrigerated so can't imagine shelf life at room temp being that short. Also was thinking of mixing 250 ml flax with 250ml gso. That might be ok.

Actually it would be 250 ml flax with 500 ml gso. I know sounds strange but the color it produces is so golden lol.

They don't sell grape-seed at the grocery store? I was in a bind once and had to buy 4 litters at the grocery store. End product was nice, not that it shouldn't have been.

Thanx mh yea I have it on hand and I like the color

I was thinking about using food coloring once for a st. patrick batch. Like the shamrock shake at Mc'ds. Lol

I mean I really did not think using some flax seed oil mixed with gso would be that big of a deal. It's an oil it can carry and it's sold right next to gso in health food store...???

It is said to have an expiration of only four months. I wouldn't use it.

Haha very funny 4T. So you wouldn't try it? Even mixed with gso? I respect your opinion all jokes aside.

Food coloring is water based, never mix oils with waters in injectables. Bacteria issues.

It is packed under nitrogen atmosphere when it is bottled...once you open it...air!
Though it ideally should be also sold in the refrigerated section. I personally wouldn't buy it if it wasn't.
If you are going to make a small batch that you will use right away, it might be ok, but i wouldn't use it personally.

Actually I just read something that made decision final to never use it, after being heated once at a temp of around 300 degrees non refrigerated shelf life is a mere 3 weeks

Good to know!

I got some bunk tren here in Mexico once and it was a bit exxagerated with the rust/dark brown
color and I figured it had a dye in it tsince most people expect tren to be a bit darker.
