can anyone help me out ???

Thanx

the people who are telling you to take creatine to gain muscle and lose fat are very ignorant people and you should stay away from them.

1. Choose either gain muscle or lose fat. If you're iffy on the fat department start cutting up. When satisfied then you can start bulking, or try bulking by gaining as little fat as possible. You're better off doing one then the other, they are opposites. When you start gaining muscle you need excess of calories and will gain some fat along the way. When cutting you'll be deficient in calories and trying to save muscle.

Pick a specific goal first, and develop a good diet. This is the most important thing you should do.

I think that a better goal would be to add muscle while NOT ADDING additional bodyfat. For me I can accomplish this with a high protein, medium fat,low carb diet.As far as supps....creatine,glutamine,and a good MRP and/or protein powder would be a good start.Proper diet and trainig are the KEYS,however.

You CANNOT maximally add muscle without gaining fat. Overeating creates an anabolic hormonal milieu (i.e. test, t3, insulin, GH, etc. increase). Steroids take care of the test part of it, but not the rest.

What you can do, however, is to cycle between dieting and bulking every two weeks or so.

Holy shit, welome back par deus!

just keep a low fat, medium carb and high protein diet and stay around 4000 kcal/day and supplement it with some l-glutamin, creatin, protein powder after training and some anti catabolic supplement...

also add some extra cardio directly after your training session so if you have been lifting weights for 45 min then do cardio for about 20 - 30 min directly after that.....

or you can always start doing cardio or just get up and take a long walk in the morning before breakfast....

this will help you lose fat and build muscle, and remember intensity is the key to serious growth :)

Good Luck

Wow ParDues,I guess the 12 pounds of muscle that I put on this year while LOWERING my bodyfat by 2% was not a good example of adding muscle without adding fat.If you work tremendously hard, diet correctly, get proper rest, train correctly, and supplement properly(and no,I don't mean drugs),you can gain a considerable amount of pure lean mass without adding to your waistline. And,by the way,I have accomplished this as well with many of my PT clients.

I will just repeat "You CANNOT maximally add muscle without gaining fat." There are physiological reasons for this which I alluded to in my post.

This doesn't mean you can't do it at all.

Your results are quite impressive, assuming you were an advanced trainee at the start of this 1 year period.

However, I gained about 30lbs of muscle and lost 5% bodyfat in about 6 motnhs by concentrating on one thing at a time.

Of course, I had been on high dose prednisone right before the start of this time period, so it doesn't mean that much.

ParDeus...I just didn't want people to think that they can't gain any muscle unless they added some bodyfat.Yes,you can add even more muscle if you don't mind adding BF,however,I find that it just evens itself out when the extra fat needs to be dieted off.Hey,maybe you've had a different experience.I just don't like to add extra BF if not necessary.

>I just don't like to add extra BF if not necessary.

But, you can avoid that by just doing short (2-3 week) cycles of bulking and dieting.
