First time cutting- Diet critique

Hey all,
I am planning to start my first serious cut. I know how to work out calories and macros and what not for bulking. However, Im a bit lost when it comes to cutting.

I am not asking anyone to do the work for me. Just to point me in the right direction and to help me work out what I need to do.

I currently weigh 80kgs, 17% BF.

My goal of this cut is to lose body fat. I would like to achieve around the 12% mark. But will re assess as I go.

Ive come to the conclusion that my maintenance is around 3000 calories. Due to activity level and work activity levels (energy consumption).

Therefore I was aiming to have my calories around the 2700 mark for starters. I dont want to put myself in a deficit too big too early. As I progress in the cut I will gradually lower calories. Am i correct here? Or am I missing something?

Now, Here is my diet I have planned for my cut. Please critique :)


Meal 1-

6 Egg whites – 103 Calories
0.3g Fat
22g Protein
1.5g Carbs

1 tblesppon peanut butter - 94 calories
8g Fat
4g Protein
3g Carbs

1 Cup oats - 300 calories
5g Fat
10g Protein
54g Carbs


Meal 2-

200g Turkey breast - 200 calories
1g Fat
48g Protein
0g Carbs


1cup sweet potato mashed - 250 calories
0.5g Fat
4.5g Protein
58g Carbs





Meal 3-

250g Chicken breast - 285
6g Fat
53g Protein
0g Carbs

Half cup brown rice - 109 calories

200g Brocoli - 68 calories

This is my first 'serious' cut and I want to do it as well as possible.

If you can get me your resting heart rate I can get you to cut easily.
 
Interesting. How do you figure this out?

Check your heart rate upon wake-up. You hold your forefingers on the Carotid artery and feel for a pulse. Once the pulse is felt, you set a timer for 6 seconds(or have somebody else count). Once start is initiated, you count the pulses. Once the product is gathered you multiply that by 10. Boom resting heart rate.
