Just wanted to start out saying that this site rocks!!! You guys are a vault of knowledge..
I am 41 years old..6 foot tall and 211 pounds..about 12% bf..
I have been in the gym for 17 years, serious for the last 10, when i was young and dumb I did alot of powerlifting for chest as that was my favorite and hated doing legs(most do)..I weighed around 270 and was pushing 420 lbs for a set of 3 on the bench..I did it all natural but never had a problem with anyone that chose to juice..ALOT of my close friends do..
around my mid 30's I decided to trim down and despite all I read and heard from pros I did it by not eating enough, thus losing mass and strength along with several injuries..chipped bone in the wrist and a few small tears in the pecs and some elbow problems from years of skull crushers at heavy weight..finally cleaned up the diet and ate enough and got it under control, I tell ya it takes a while to get your body to get right after having a shit diet and not eating enough..but I did drop down to 235 pounds..
about a year and a half ago I realized that i was displaying alot of symptoms of low T..finally went to the doctor and got bloodwork done and sure enough total T was 240 and free was 33..(may have that backwards..lol)...so I went through the gambit of gels and creams that didnt do anything, by the time I was put on a max dose of androgel it raised levels some but also tore my skin up..
In the mean while I had a devistating injury in the gym..grabbed the 130 pound dumbells and was doing a set of flat dumbell press and got to rep 6 and went for 7....realized it wasnt gonna happen and with the speed of thought i felt a pop and heard a rip that sounded like someone ripped their pants, like velcro taring(my workout partner that was spotting me almost puked)...yep...tore the tricep tendon almost completely off the elbow and had a nice tare on the tricep muscle itself..on the inside of the tricep(the portion that helps balance the free weight..luckily I was able to heal without surgery..but...
Found out I needed the test injections but doctor and specialist wasnt gonna let me do them myself and insurance wouldnt cover my injection fees or doctors visits for the injections..pretty messed up seeing that the insurance would cover the prescription..10 bucks for the test cyp..so...
I took it into my own hands and got it on my own and do a shot every 9 or 10 days and I feel great..gained a few pounds, before i started i was down to 202 pounds but muscles have started to fill out and lost a lil bf..so to help with my healing I have started adding some Deca..but I am doing it moderately to see how my body responds..every 10 days I do 1cc the next 10 days I do a half a cc..have noticed some benifits like strength has increased but also jumped up to 211 pounds..I am about 5 weeks into this mini cycle and no adverse reactions..I guess my questions would be, with such a light cycle(if you could call it that) would i need any PCT? also after 8 weeks of the Deca I am gonna take a month off and then start EQ cycle..1 cc of test and EQ every week..again thats probly a light cycle but I am gonna do this smart..Do you all think that its a good next step?
