First Insulin Cycle: Day 5

Well so far so good. That is, I'm still alive.

I started my Insulin at 6 units the first day, then went to 8, then 10 for the last three days. I started about 5 days after my last shot of Prop, which I had run for 9 weeks.

I haven't felt much of anything, to be honest.

How long should it take for me to "feel" anything? And can someone describe what exactly it is I should be feeling? I don't feel particularly pumped or anything yet.

For the record, I am 6'2'', 290 lbs, app. 16-18% bf. Should I bump up my daily dosage due to my size? How high can I go safely? My cycle is 11 weeks: 3on, 1 off, 3 on, 1 off, 3 on, off for good.

Oh yeah... I'm using Humilin-R.
 
Definitely toss in some creatine- works extremely well with slin. Oh and Magnesium and potassium should be taken as well b/c they are depleted while using slin- also helps maintain a little slin sensitivity- do a search for insulin at t-mag.com and you will see a lot of info on maintaining slin sensitivity. Insulin is far more subtle than AAS in its effects. You're not going to feel "jacked" or pumped up. You should notice better recovery most of all but my experience has been that you need to work out twice as hard to really get the full benefit from insulin use.

for a non diabetic in your opinion what would be the best way to cycle it in?....i was planning on using it in the last 6 weeks...2 weeks on 2weeks off ect
 
If you've used before and know some general doses that you can handle, start there and bump it up by 1 or 2IU's each day until you feel you've reached your limit. If you're basically starting from scratch in terms of usage, start with 2-3IU's for your first dose and then bump it up by 1-2Iu's per day until you feel that you've reached your limit(i.e. you feel symptoms of low blood sugar even though you felt you've eaten as much as you want to). Keep in mind that your stomach area has the most even absorption and that if you inject near a muscle that you've worked, absorption can be increased in terms of both time and/or intensity. I'd also say that you should go 2 weeks full on, third week taper down to zero, two weeks off as this will be easier for your body to re-adjust to.
 
i bumped my dosage up to 12 units post workout yesterday and felt fine. what's the highest I should go, even if I don't really feel any sides?

According to you weight (290 lbs...ugh), I suppose you can tolerate more then me. I'm only about 160 lbs...he he ! I suppose that you already eat a hell lot, othervise you could not be a 290lbs guy... maybe that's why you don't notice so much difference.

I use to add another 6-8 units 2 times/day when I'm on gear, but then again, I'm already a dibetic. That works good for me, anyway...

I don't think you should exceed 15 units - that sounds really much to me ! But like everything else, this is very individual...you know better yourself how much extra you want to eat etc.
 
Stone- Once you get up to that 12iu a day dose, only go up by 1IU at a time because it will make more of a difference at the higher doses than at the lower ones. You want to gently find out where your limit is and not bust through it and pass out- its a very fine line once you get close so be VERY careful. One day 15iu may give you only mild sides but another you may be dialing 911. By the same token12iu may be fine, 13 may be good and you don't really feel much but then 14 may really kick you in the ass. Be careful and good luck with it- AD

Go to the archives and look up " Monsters insulin primer ". This is by far the best info on insulin and in my opinion the best info I have ever read on here.
