First Figure Competition and Need Advice

Hello,

I am new to the board, I have been reading a lot of the posts trying to get as much information as possible however I think its time to start posting so I could really use your insight on the following. I am 5'6 and I weight 138lbs and I am 9 weeks out from my first FIGURE competition. My target weight is 125lbs. I have been training for 2 years and look pretty good for someone who is all natural but its crunch time and I am not going on stage looking sloppy!! So here are the stats: 6 meals a day consisting of: Turkey, Chick, Fish, egg whites, kale, spinach, asaparagus, (Sweet potato on days i weight train), broccoli, cauliflower, (very clean) and over a gallon of water a day. Each meal consists of the following 25g protein, 20g carbs = 225-230 calories giving me a daily caloric intake of 1250-1350. I weight train 5 days a week and do cardo all 7 days. Cardio consists of 2 days 30 mins interval and 5 mile runs 5 days a week. My trainer would like to put me on 8mg of oral winstrol capsules for 6 weeks and then switch me to anavar 3 weeks out from the show to harden up and look vascular. So here are the questions:

1. Does 8mg sound like a right amount for someone w/ my stats?
2. Will it increase endurance for cardio and strength for my training or does it just assist with fat burning?
3. Will taking ephedrine with the winnie be okay?
4. I heard winstrol can cause acne, will this amount do so?
5. I dont wish to put on any size, just get super lean and cut, will this dosage do that? (Remember I am competing in figure)
6.Will running the anavar after the winstrol be okay?

I could really use your insight on this. Thanks so much.

Your diet sounds to be in check but for a better assessment please post a log from a typical day of everything you eat times etc. Also give us and idea on rep ranges and lifting you are doing. It is possible to do your first show natural just by tweaking your diet and training.

As for your questions:
AAS is not a fat burn it will aid in maintaining your lean mass well preparing for a show but IT WILL NOT BURN FAT.
Winnie would never be a first choice compound as people all react very diffrently to it and any dose even small can produce sides. If you decide to run something your best bet would be var start of with 5mg a day and see how your body reacts to that but honestly trying something precomp is kinda risky cause you never know how you will react to it. Running fat burns such as ephedra with AAS is fine. As for your last question it would be a terrible idea to stack something your first cycle as you don't know how you will react to either on there own let alone together.

You can do a search on winny and will find its known as the snake bite drug. Either you love it or you hate it. Did you do your homework on the winny and the var? I would strongly suggest that you don't just 'do' something because your trainer says it will be good for you. Every one is individual and will respond to things differently. Do some searches dig up info... don't go in blined ever!!!!!! esp not this close to comp.

Superqt: Thanks for the input, could you please inform me on some of the side effects of Winnie perhaps I didnt take into consideration? Here is a log of my diet:

Meal 1(7:15am): Shake(post work out): 30g carbs, 20g protein = 200 calories

Meal 2(9:15am): 3 egg whites & 1 whole & 1/3 cup of oatmeal w/ flaxseed oil= 15g carbs, 22g protein, 3g fat = 212 calories

Meal 3(12 noon): 2.5 oz Salmon w/ string beans: 10g of carbs, 21g protein, 6g fat= 178 calories

Meal 4: (3:00pm) ½ of sweet potato & Turkey patty: 22g of protein, 20g of carbs = 168 calories

Meal 5: (6:30pm) Whey protein shake w/ fruit & glutamine(post work out shake): 36g protein, 20g carbs = 224 calories

Meal 6:(8:30pm) ½ of sweet potato & Turkey patty: 22g of protein, 20g of carbs = 168 calories

Meal 7: (10pm) Whey protein shake: 36 g protein, 4g carbs = 180 calories

Water: Over a gallon

Total Daily Caloric Intake:1330

Workout combos: Shoulders & Biceps & Abs - 4-5 shoulder excercises consisting of 4 sets with 12-15 reps, 3 Bicep excercises consisting of 4-5 set and 15-20 reps

Chest & Triceps:4 chest excercises with 4-5 sets of 12-15 reps, Tricep 4 excersises with 12-18 reps

Legs(Quads & Hams): 4-5 quad excersises with 4-5 sets and 15-20reps and super sets, Hamstrings: 3 excercises 4 sets of 12-15 reps

Back & Abs: 5-6 excersises consisting consisting of 4-5 sets 12-15 reps.

Abs- 4 different excersises consisting of 12-20 reps targeting, upper, middle, lower abdominal and obliques.

Okay let me know if you need more info!!

Could anyone tell me if Winstrol helps with endurance for cardio?? and perhaps what are typical amts of winstrol they had taken when they first started and list some possible side effects!!

Hi I & welcome! Congrats on going after your first figure comp. It would help us a lot if you can include your current bodyfat as weight only tells us how much your total muscle, fat and your skeleton weigh.

The dosage of winny tabs is very small, so I wouldn't anticipate huge sides, but every girl responds differently. Acne is a very common side effect of AAS and depends on how YOU personally react. What brand is it? Just wondering because, especially for women you want to make sure you have "clean" AAS, i.e. not an underground lab that may not be as clean as a pharma lab. Women are sensitive enough to external male hormones, so no need to complicate it. Generally, before going on any AAS you would want to run a test cycle of each AAS individually to see how YOU react to it, but it looks like you are short on time for that. Just a note for "plan ahead & educate yourself" instead of relying on the trainer. Cuz its YOUR body that is ingesting the stuff, not his/hers & you need to know what the results & consequences are.

BTW both winny and var will not necessarily increase your endurance but rather speed up your recovery time so you can train harder. And as QT noted, AAS is NOT a fat burner. Your diet is your fat burner. Also on those dosage you dont' need to worry about "getting big". You will harden up some. Also did your trainer suggest any supporting supplements to help protect your body while running the AAS? If not, go question him about it. The dosage is fairly low, but again, you need to be careful with your body because it is YOUR body and this stuff is not your typical OTC multivitamin.

How is your energy on your diet? The cals look a little low for someone your weight. You dont' want to cut your intake too low that far out & not be able to support your level of training.

Thanks so much on the congrats!! The Winnie i had purchased is extremely clean and tightly controlled, my friend is in the pharmaceutical industry and he is getting the steroids legally through prescriptions!! (Good Thing). Right now all i take is multi vitamin, 2 capsules daily of rip fuel which contains ephedrin and lean body (an apex supplement that helps with losing body fat).

I have to admit this last minute testing with winnie and anavar is my fault, i initally did not want to go on anything but since I am competing in a non tested show and its a national qualifier I would like to look a bit more hard and lean, it was my decision to run a cycle. My main concern of this product is the acne portion, b/c I suffered acne as a teen and I just hope this doesnt mean I am prone to get it again!!

I do know the anavar is not a fat burner however i was told it helps a person look more vascular and hard.

How does one find out skeleton weight & total muscle?? That is interesting form of measurements that i never heard of before, I would be interested in finding out.

- only a multi vitamin, do you suggest anything that should be taken??

Energy intake is great for now, however some days i do feel tired and hungry when I do i just add another meal but my calorie intake does not go over 1400.

No - what I"m saying is all you give is your current weight. Doesn't tell us anything about your amount of muscle or amount of fat. Weight is sort of meaningless when we are talking about "how fit we are". Just wanted to say if you can add that measure it would help if you are asking if your diet is "good".

Just to be explicit, neither winny nor var is a fat burner.

As far as supps --
-- Winstrol is a 17aa steroid- it is processed by your liver. You can protect your liver with milk thistle, cranberry extract. For acne, you can load pantothenic acid (Vit b-5) if it becomes an issue. Winny may also cause you to lose some hair (you may see your hair fall out due to impact on DHT) - you can use Nizoral to help that - OTC shampoo you can get at any drug store next to the dandruff stuff.

Again, your dosages are fairly small, but it is still cycling AAS and you should know all about how to cycle, not just that certain drugs will "harden you up". Mention the above & see if your trainer can add more insight. Otherwise I suggest you continue to research as well.

but my calories are at 1600 ... . good luck post a picture. I have been promising to post a picture.. but i am waiting for my suit YAAAAAAA..
and i am probably older than u ... GOOD LUCK ITS GREAT EXPERIENCE.. AND THIS thread is one of the best for support ..
