First Cycle

Ok I have everything in place for my first PH cycle of 1-AD and 4-AD. I've never done any gear.
I am 47 yo. 118Kg ~24% bf.
Bench 140Kg
Squat 180Kg
I've been lifting regularly this time around for 21 months but only just starting on the squats and deads due to a chronic back problem which is just about sorted now. I've been getting steadily stronger over the past year.

I want to gain strength and lose some bf but not too fussed about the bf. I'm looking to the PH more as a boost to my strength and workouts rather than any hopes of gaining crazy mass. I've been cycling creatine since July and tidying up my diet for the past few months but not measuring any amounts re carbs/fat/protein but I reckon I eat about 200-250g of protein a day between meals and shakes.

It's my first cycle and I am intending 300g 1-AD (Ergopharm) and 150g 4-AD (Molecular Nutrition Ethergels) ED for 20 days mostly as an experience builder. I had intended just the 1-AD but added in the 4-AD to reduce the 1-AD lethargy sides and, maybe, to get some extra out of the cycle by stacking.

I have three packs of each and plan a later cycle of 400/200 ED for 30 days after a couple or three months if all goes well with this cycle. I have 6-OXO for a tapered pct over three weeks and another two packs for a four-week pct for my next cycle and my Nolva finally arrived today in case of any sign of any gyno problems. I also have milk thistle, ala, trib, zma, saw palmetto and flaxseed oil all lined up to run alongside and I already started a pre-cycle week of milk thistle to bolster my liver. The ala for during cycle and the trib, zma and milk thistle for during pct. Saw palmetto for the whole cycle and pct.

I'm posting in the hope that someone will run their eye over this and say "yep, looks fine" or whether anyone is going to call me a dumb fool for neglecting something obvious like an anti-DHT shampoo. :)

Looks like you've put more thought into a PH cycle than quite a few of the real cycles I see posted here lately. I haven't done ph's in a very long time so I'm not the best one to be giving advise on them. Just wanted to give you some K for putting some thought and effort into your cycle.
 
I dont know much about PH's either but a friend of mine did them (I think M1T) and ended up having to take anti-e's. So in some cases PH have just as many sides as real steroids. You should do some research on Anavar and see if that might be something your interested in.
 
Thanks everyone for your comments even the silent ones - at least no-one can see anything stupid here - and thanks apexx for your encouragement. I reckon I'll be doing real cycles before too long but, for now, this is pretty real to me.

I guess I'll start at the weekend.

I would up the dosage of the 1ad to at least 600g a day. Take two pills each at your main meals to space it throughout the day. Why didn't you just buy S1+?

I juggled so many combos around in my head and I might be doing things differently were it not for the PH ban. I finally decided to get three packs of the 1-AD and the 4-AD and to take them in matched doses so that the packs lasted the same time and finally decided on doing two cycles with them. I have enough to run a 600g a day cycle for 30 days but I thought/hoped that by running 4-AD alongside I might get the same benefits as running a higher-dose cycle but with much reduced sides from either. I'm still young so I can go higher later unless I'm wasting receptors by going too low on early cycles or wasting money by doing a dose that will have zero effect.

I chose the 1-AD over something like S1+ for two easy reasons: I saw nothing bad written anywhere, besides standard 1-Test problems, for 1-AD and I found a site selling it which I'd seen mentioned as a good site.

Well the s1+ is a transdermal and does not need to go through your liver. You should up the dosage with the 1Ad like I stated earlier. The 4ad should be taken at the normal dosage. YOu need a good amount of 1ad to get the gains you want sides are not going to change that much like you think.
 
Thanks, neo2, good point about the transdermal vs oral. I reckoned that at normal dosages it wouldn't matter over three to four weeks and I've no history of liver problems.

I'm now on my third day of the cycle and every morning I've woken up feeling like I've grown through the night, even the first night. Everything I've read agrees with you that 600mg ED of 1AD should be safe but this current dosage of the 1AD and 4AD is having a physiological effect on me and I think I'll let the plan ride as it is.

When I do the second cycle, I've yet to choose between doing 600ED for three weeks or 400 for four weeks, with corresponding bumps in the amount of 4AD. One of the reasons for my low dose first cycle was to see how my body reacts and I'm not yet even one week into it. No noticable adverse effects so far except that I've turned into a pissing machine and my muscles are aching like the the first time I tried creatine.
 
Ive been going the gym for about 4 months during that time i went on steroids for 7 weeks,i fuked off the 8th week cos i was turning into an insomniac,i was wondering if anyone could tell me sum cheap steds that dont require a high calorie diet because its hard for me to eat all the time wilst working.if anyone can help me id much apreciate it
 
You might want to start a fresh thread for this and give info like age, bodyweight, your goals, lifting experience and what you want to get out of your cycle.

There are various threads on insomnia. Many seem to take meltonin. I take arginine and ornithine from time to time. I've had really good sleeps from tryptophan, too.
