I am 40 years old 6ft 2” and weight 210lbs. I have done sports since I have memory and I have lifted weight since I was 16. The goal as never been for bodybuilding but as a complement to my sports training and as I grew up, to stay in shape. I don’t have my BF %, but I am quite lean and in very good shape…again.
Now, I said again because I went through a tough period in the last couple of year, which I blame on the use of Propecia ( and maybe a little bit on getting older). I mentioned the Propecia since I used it for a year and a half until I decided to drop it, because I was feeling shitty. I experience all possible bad effect, including feeling extremely weak, loss of libido, and a mild gyno. Before that I have always been extremely active (in all senses) and I felt always very strong (test charged, I would say). Currently, almost two years after dropping the Propecia and after one year of starting training again, I feel much better, but not 100%. I stated doing some research on the effects of aging and I become more aware of the effect that getting older has on Test production. And, as a first step I had a blood test done. My test level come back pretty low 377 ng/dL.
Also, have felt tempted to use some gear, in particular when I saw that guys on my local gym of turn were getting much bigger than me with even less effort than the one I was putting. I always trained very hard, but I was a bit naive. Part of me though using gear was cheating (you know the drill) and my other half was dying to dare to use it. I was also scare of the potential side effects, and back then we were brainwashed about AAS affecting you manhood, loosing hair, etc. Today, I am 40 years old, I have four children, I have lost a substantial amount of hair and I am ready to enjoy the ride and try it for the first time…and blame it on the middle age crisis J
I have used nutritional supplements almost all my life and I got pretty decent results using the usual suspects (creatine, Nitric Oxide, Amino Acids, fat burners, etc) with a good diet. But, I would like to take it one step forward and at least push my test level to the upper side of the normal range.
So, after doing some research, I am planning to start on a Test E only cycle.
GOAL: My goal is not massive weight gains, but lean muscle gain (I knoe you have hear that one before). I thought about putting some additonal carido on my trining plan while on cylce to achieve this, or maybe combine with some Winny in the last 4 weeks of the cycle. Does it makes sense?
My plan is the following.
8-10 Week cycle
Test E 500 mg/week.
Arimidex(or Femara) not sure about the dosage. I decide to take it during the cycle talking into account that I got some gyno during the use of Propecia. (makes sense?)
HCGenerate (is this the right product?)
PCT:
Arimidex (or Nolva) again not sure of the dosage. I need help here. Also, is Clomid a substitute of Nolva, or it has additional benefits.
HCGenerate to minimize recovery time of natural Test production
Am I missing something here? Also, I need to understand how to get the Test. Is Test E a brand name? I assume there have to be good and bad Test enthanate products, but I have no idea.
