First Cycle Critique: 500mg/wk or less ?

For my first cycle, I was planning on doing this:

Weeks 1-10: Test E (Iran) 500mg/wk (inject 2x/week - first inject = 500mg)
Weeks 1-12: LiquiDex .25mg ED (Week 13 EOD)

PCT (Starts the monday after last shot [which will be a thursday])
Weeks 1-3: 1000iu HCG IM Mon/Wed/Fri
Weeks 1-6: 20mg Nolva

My stats:

5'6, 175 lbs @ 10% BF
MAX Bench: 275 lbs (225 x 10)
MAX Deadlift: 335 lbs (275 x 8)
MAX Squat (parallel): 315lbs (need to work on that, I know) (245 x 10)

21 YO, been training dedicated for 2 years (been working out for 4). I did some prohormones/prosteroids when I was 17 (yes I know that was fucking stupid) - the HM GEAR cycle gave my gyno (not bad, but very noticeable to me), and I got it surgically removed.

NOW, MY QUESTION:
I'm debating whether I should go ahead and do the 500mg/week cycle, or should I do 375mg/wk. I plan on training like an animal and eating like a king, and I would like to gain and keep at least 15 lbs of muscle and not gain too much bodyfat. I'm thinking the 500mg is prob the way to go, but want to hear what some of the other bro's think. And, does the Adex dosage seem okay, or would you adjust it since I already had one bout with gyno (I know I can always adjust it, but want to know what I should start out with). And how does my PCT look? Thanks. :artist:
 
500mg is nice, it's what i did. so i'll never know if less would have worked, although i ramped it up from 1cc to 2cc, when i got to 2cc i was pleased with what i was seeing and feeling. i gotta go with the mentality though it is your first cycle, 500mg is not extreme but it's enough to work and will work for sure. why play the guessing game. so from my mistake on ramping cost me some gains. i was a pussy. hehe, hit the 500mg
 
most will say 500 mg min but if u no what ur doing with diet and training then id go 4 250. iv only bean using 4 2 yeares i think or some thing like that i got a sht memory but 250 still does me fine, i tryd 500 mg 5-6 weeks and it gave me so much water retention all my frends took the piss, i looked like a fatty as soon as i 250 mg it started to go back to normal

Adex dosage looks good.
Start it there and adjust to what works for you.
I would cut back on the HCG a little bit.
According to what have posted you'll be running 9000iu, that might be a bit much for such a cycle.
I personally like 500iu for 10 days.
I wouldn't run the nolva for more than 2-4wks, and 20mg should be fine.

I know you don't want to hear this, but IMO you're NOT ready for steroids. You should train natural for at least another 4 years before jumping on a cycle. At 175lbs., you can easily gain 10-15lbs. of lean mass/year naturally at your age.

Bleh, no I didn't want to hear that. At this point, I find I can still gain, on average, about 1/2 lb a month on average w/o getting fat (and it is VERY important for me not to be a lardass, even temporarily) - that's with diet and training spot on. At that rate, in one year I gain six pounds, which is pretty decent, and means with hard work and consisten effort I could reach my goals by about 24 or 25. Unfortunately, I'm just not that damn patient, and besides that, I'm looking forward to having the thrill of watching myself getting HYOOGE and significantly stronger week by week and having the endorphinic rush after walking out of the gym knowing I'm really making progress and feeling my biceps and my chest pull against my shirt as I reach for the milk in the fridge when I get home, and relishing as I see how much attention I'm getting from all the girls in my college classes as I AM that handsome swole up guy who keeps answering all the quesitons and keeps making the highest test scores... that my friend, is what I am looking forward to, and know damn you, I will not wait :chomp: But I appreciate you taking the time to inform me on what you feel is best nevertheless! :D

You're setting yourself up for a lifetime of health problems by abusing steroids at your age. Heath might not seem like an issue at 21, but once you hit 40 you'll regret abusing anything...

You honestly feel that a modest 500mg/week test only cycle with an AI and proper PCT is setting myself for health problems? Would you feel that by me waiting until I was 25 to start cycling that I would protect myself from devloping these problems? I just don't see the difference - a cycle is a cycle is a cycle, whether I'm 21 or I'm 25, whether I'm 175 lbs or 192 lbs, if I don't use like an idiot and train responsibly, I really don't see a difference. You think it's going to have some effect on my growth, like I still have some fragile hormonal system like a young adolescent boy? It's a moot point for me...
 
I agree...While I dont think 500mgs per week for 12 weeks will do anything to harm you in the long term. You are just 21 and should be able to make some really good gains on your own at this point. Push the caloric envelope and make sure to take the right supps, get the right amount of rest, and for fucks sake get in and out of the gym within an hour{Meaning don't fuck off and talk....TRAIN HARD and go eat}

You do these things and you will gain.

I don't know if you guys realize this, but being only 5'6, 175 lbs @ 10% (and actually it's probably closer to 9%) BF isn't that bad. I personally think I have a damn good base, a lot better than a lot of those pricks that make a snails physique look desirable when their starting their first cycles, but just because their 203 lbs (albet 6'0 @ 15% BF), they're good to go.
 
Yes thats a great base...Im sure you look great with the height to weight ratio....Especially being somewhat lean. Still does not change the fact that you are only 21.

Im 5'9-5'[email protected] wanting to be setting at 9% soon.....12 or so now.{In my 30's}

Yea, thx muscleup - yea, at 5'9 - 5'10, you're a pretty big fuckin bastard at 240! My (first) goal is 190 @ 7% BF.
 
you would be huge at that weight....Much bigger and more solid than I am now.

I would suggest the lesser dose at your bodyweight. You will get very good results. The extra 125 mgs probably will not make a huge dif. You can always go up from here. The cyclying over time is how you build and keep quality muscle.
