I was so looking forward to it, Then I started getting all bloated and it seems like so much food. Can I push back the carb up day for every two weeks? Which would be better for fat loss? I don`t care about willpower, That`s about ALL I have. lol

you may have taken in too many carbs, or high sodium carbs during your loading day. if you are swelling up like a ballon it's probably just water. high sodium carbs increase uptake and absorbtion. which can cause a bloaded feeling. but without any other info of what or why your loading i cannot give you a suitable answer.

You will feel bloated during EACH and EVERY carb-up, you need to keep weekly carb-ups to have steady leptin levels and replenish liver glycogen which will lead to steady T4-T3 conversion. Othewise, fat-loss might be halted.

I feel your pain. I truly do. :(

The best part of the carb-up (besides the awesome workouts in the days to follow) is that first bite of high-glycemic carbs. I hate the bloated feeling and the mind-fog of trying to get back into ketosis so much, that I quit doing weekly all-day carb-ups, and opted for more frequent one-hour carb-ups instead.

Get your hands on some r-ALA if you're not already taking it - that stuff is sheer magic when it comes to cutting down on the bloat, and improving glycogen storage.

does anyone workout on carb up days?
is there a limited amount you should have on that day?

Thanks everyone for the replies. OK I see I`m not the only person going through this. The next day I`m feeling GREAT Damn I`m gonna kill those weights today. lol
Believe it or not I like being in ketosis. hmmm what does that mean? lol I will keep doing it every week. and btw I`m following the EXACT example of Mr. X`s CKD in his article.
