just received my finakit and in side theres a coffee filter i dont think theres a need for it do people use the coffee filters?

HaHa, I asked the same question with my first kit....

It's so you can do an extra round of filtering (if you want)

After your fina is disolved in the "magic solution" then you can put the coffee filter in the top of the bottle (making into a cone) and pour the solution into it, before you add your oil.

..... I don't use it, so correct me if I'm wrong guys.....

oh and i got the conversion instructions of gotfina and in the process of filtering he used a 25g needle to even out the air in the vial i dont have a 25g needle will a 21g be ok and they only supplied me with 2 18g needles?

Yes, any needle will do since you are only purging the air.
