Whats up with this stuff?

I have been reading about it and decided to buy some. I went to Co-Op and bought some, but opted out of that gun thing. I am three weeks into my cycle and not noticing anything.

I tried to follow directions off of the box the best I could, minus using the gun. I have been rotating sites, I stick one pellet in my right ear then next day one in my left and switch like that. I guess they use the gun to shoot it into cows ears? I haven't gotten any gains though, my diets clean and I have been lifting hard. I don't think this stuff is breaking down right because my ears are clogged up and I can barely stick anymore into them. What can I do? I think this stuff is bunk.
