Fina sludge, coffee filter?

ok so I made 2 40-50ml's of fina. In the 2 jars there was a rather large amount of sludge.

I used the coffee filter and put all the sludge into it to see if any fina was still there.

Is this a good idea and will it work, if so how long would it take?

Okay, after you heat it up, by placing in a pot of hot water, you pour it into your coffe filter setup. Once it drains, give the filter a squeeze, and then toss it out. The junk in the filter is useless, you don't need it. Then you filter it with the syringe filter into the sterile vial. Simple as that. That will get rid of all the gunk, and particles.

On a side note, I understand your frustration with the kits from Rk. My fina kits are always great from them, BUT this time they sent me one 40 or 50cc vial with my s kit, so I was left with 50cc's of tne and no place to put it. I was rather pissed!

yeah I ended up with a bit over 40ml's of oil in my kit.

thats 6000/40= 150mg/ml
