Here's the basics.
Most Kits Contain:
#1 vial(20ml) contains solvent 5ml per vial unless other amounts are requested.
#2 vial(20ml) contains pure, sterile oil 15ml per vial
#3 vial(20ml) empty and sterile, used for final product storage.
2 @ 10ml syringes to draw and filter.
1 @ .45mc sterile filter to filter the finished product.
2 @ 18 gauge needles to be used to draw the oil into the 10ml syringes.
There are 3 vials in the kit.
#1 has the solvent,
#2 has the oil
#3 is empty.
You can take the top off the clear solvent vial and add the pills or other powder. Crushed or not that is up to you but I have found that crushed works best. Use heat to dissolve the pills ........just lightly swirl the vial after the pills are in with the stopper back on. Put a needle head in the stopper when heating to relieve pressure...heat for 3-5 min....
DO NOT TOUCH THE STOPPER WITH YOUR HANDS...
OR THE PILLS, USE ALCOHOL TO STERILIZE THE STOPPER IF YOU
HAVE TO BEFORE YOU PUT IT BACK ON,
DO NOT TOUCH THE PILLS WITH YOUR HANDS ....
When the pills are dissolved completely, which should only take about 10-15 mins add the oil via the sterile filter( pre-load the filter with about 2ml of oil ) Add the required amount of oil via filter to the solvent and gently shake or swirl to mix.
Let settle until all the powder is at the bottom and the fluid is a nice golden color. ..this will take from 30min up to 4-5 hours.
(SHOULDN'T TAKE MORE THAN 1-2 hours)
After all the powder has settled draw the golden product via sterile filter with the10ml syringe and add to the empty sterile 3rd vial. As long as the powder is settled to the bottom it should stay there and the filter should be able to filter at least 100ml with no trouble or plugging.
You should do a final heat sterilization via the oven at 250 F for 20 minutes, be sure to vent the stopper with a syringe to release the pressure.
