fina and pin gauge?

oil usually warrants a 22 or 23 gauge...but with the amount of injections with 5 weeks of fina I was wondering if the gauge could be dropped to 25?...or is the oil too thick?

I use a 23g and it sails in easily. I'm sure you could easily use a 25g.
